3585287 - Custom Section not Visible in Opportunity's Header Expanded Mode

Symptom

You created a section in Opportunity' Overview tab in the left hand pane, however, the same section has disappeared when expanding to the detailed view. 

Environment

  • SAP Sales Cloud Version 2
  • SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to navigation menu.
  2. Open Guided Selling view.
  3. Open any Opportunity.
  4. Check the left hand pane: under Overview tab, the section created by you appears. 
  5. However, if you expand the full screen view of the Opportunity, this section disappears.

Cause

This happens because expanded and collapsed modes both need to have new sections added. It does not automatically transfer from one to another.

Resolution

In order to see the created section in the detailed (expanded) view, you also need to add the section there via Adaptation.
