3585506 - Data Privacy Statement (DPCS) Inaccessibility and Automatically Closed When Clicking the Revoke Button on Candidate Profile in External Career Site Without Using Mobile Apply- Recruiting Management

Symptom

  • Upon clicking the Data Privacy Statement button on candidate profile in external career site, candidates are unable to read the entire statement as the window does not allow scrolling.
  • The Data Privacy Statement window closes without allowing the candidate to revoke the Data Privacy Consent. The window always closes no matter clicking anywhere of the page.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into the career portal as a candidate
  2. Access the candidate profile
  3. Click on the Data Privacy Statement button
  4. Scroll down to see the entire statement but the window automatically closed
  5. Clicking the revoke or print button will close the window too

Resolution

The issue has been confirmed as a defect and is currently under investigation by the engineering team.

Workaround:

  • Enable Mobile Apply in Manage Recruiting Settings will have no such issue.
