3585653 - Unable to Skip Workflow During End of Higher Duty Assignment

• While ending Higher Duty Assignment, rule is triggering the workflow.
• Ending Higher Duty Assignment is not included in the rule, so workflow should not be triggered. 

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Higher Duties & Public Sector

1. End the Higher Duty Assignment via "Actions".
2. Workflow has been generated by a rule that does not include ending Higher Duty Assignment.
3. The rule should trigger the workflow only when starting Higher Duty Assignment.

The rule execution for ending the Higher Duty was considering both the active job info time slice with the HDAE event reason along with the new termination time slice.

• The solution of this issue is currently under investigation. Please follow this KBA for updates.
• As a workaround, add an additional NULL check for Employment Details.Termination Date. This will allow the rule to differentiate between the Add Higher Duty and End Higher Duty scenario as the termination date will be NULL in case of Add Higher Duty, even if the same event reason is picked.
