3585914 - Custom token for "Buddy" does not work in Email Services - Onboarding.

Symptom

  • The custom token for "Buddy" in the email template is not working as expected.
  • Buddy's name is not shown in the email but blank.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure the Buddy placeholder in Manage Document Template Mapping.
  3. Attempt to utilize the custom token for "Buddy" in custom buddy email template.

Cause

This is not supported.

Resolution

The new hires will see their buddy name directly when they login to their homepage. 

Please send email to notify the task assignee that he/she would be the buddy for the new hire but not vice-versa.
