• A manual journal entry voucher was posted to a cost center that was subsequently closed.
• An attempt to reverse this journal entry resulted in the system posting the reverse entry to the closed cost center.
• The expectation was that the reverse entry would not be posted to a closed cost center.

1. A manual journal entry voucher is posted to a cost center.
2. The cost center is then closed.
3. An attempt is made to reverse the journal entry voucher.
4. The system posts the reverse entry to the same closed cost center.

Expected System Behaviour

The system will always post cancellations or reversals to the same cost center based on the original source document on the manual journal entry.

The cost center is manually entered by the user on the journal entry and is not derived based on any organizational unit.

If there is a need to post the entries to a different cost center, they should be posted to the new cost center directly.
