3586047 - HTTP 500 Internal Server Error accessing BI launchpad / CMC after upgrade to BI 2025

Symptom

  • Accessing BI Launchpad (BILP) / Central Management Console (CMC) results in a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error. The login prompt page is never displayed .
  • Errors in the tomcat logs
    SEVERE: Error while starting Framework
    org.osgi.framework.BundleException: Exception in org.eclipse.osgi.internal.framework.SystemBundleActivator.start() of bundle org.eclipse.osgi.
        at org.eclipse.osgi.internal.framework.BundleContextImpl.startActivator(BundleContextImpl.java:803)
