3586390 - 'No Data' appears under My Reporting Hierarchy Team Absence Calendar

Symptom

  • In the Team Absence Calendar, in the 'My Direct Reports' tab, the user cannot see their direct reports under ''My reporting hierarchy", even though the direct reports appear within the calendar itself.
  • The issue occurs for some but not all users.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Off

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Team Absence Calendar by searching for 'View Team Absences' in the action search or via the 'View Team Absences' quick card
  2. Click on the 'My Direct Reports' tab
  3. See that the direct reports appear within the calendar
  4. However, on the left side of the page, under 'My Reporting Hierarchy', see that 'No Data' is displayed

 

Cause

There is a data issue in relation to the affected user's primary assignment.

Resolution

  1. Go to the Check Tool
  2. Under Application select 'User Management'.
  3. Look for the check tool named, 'The primary assignment is correct for each person'
  4. Run the check
  5. Note the ID(s) of the affected users appear in the results
  6. Click on the Quick Fix button to resolve the issue.
