Symptom

When attempting to access SAP GUI for Java, the system displays the following error message:

"Error: SncPDLInit() == SNCERR_INIT
Unable to load GSS-API Shared Library
named "sncgss.so"
...
Detail dlopen("sncgss.so") FAILED
"sncgss.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory"
