3586430 - Closed Caption option for Spotlight Video - Employee Profile

When uploading a video to the Spotlight "About Me" section, there is an option pro Closed Caption (CC), however, when clicking on it, it will disappear and the CC is not available.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Go to About Me section in Spotlight;
2. Upload video;
3. Clink on the options (three dots on the right bottom);
4. Click on CC - Captions;
5. Nothing happens and the option disappears. 

This feature is not implemented yet and currently its not possible to use CC in the media player. 

This subject is currently under discussion regarding whether this option should be removed entirely, and what the plans are for CC in the future. However, no plans to change this have been made yet. This KBA will be updated once the matter develops.
