3586568 - Issue in Income Tax Calculation via Payroll India Schema

Symptom

  • System incorrectly applies the very senior citizen income tax slab, even though the employee do not fall into that category.
  • The wage type /436 (Tax on Total income) is showing an incorrect amount in the RT table. Less income tax has been deducted by the system.
  • Income tax (/460) wage type is showing an incorrect amount.
  • Amount is not matching with manual calculation based on 'Income Tax slab rates'. 
  • In case of Old Tax regime employees , an extra exemption of 12,500 Rs has been provided during Income tax calculation.
