3586569 - SMTP Mail Server for SBPA fails to read authentication_token of Destination Service

Symptom

User is able to configure the SMTP Server for the SBPA as per SAP help link Configure an SMTP Mail Destination, but email triggering is failed with below error:
An unexpected error has occurred due to missing SMTP configuration

In the logs, we can see below error
