Symptom
- Add an Advanced filter for story filter in optimized story
- Observe that "Edit Member Member" panel would not appear after clicking on the "Add Custom Order" button for widget in optimized story
Environment
- SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.1.8
Reproducing the Issue
- Log onto SAC
- Create an optimized story
- Insert a chart into this story and add dimensions as well as measures into this chart
- On the story filter bar, click on button "Add Story Filter/Prompt" and select "Advanced Filtering..."
- On the following "Set Conditions for Advanced Filter" panel. define the conditions:
=> When defining the conditions, it is needed to make sure this condition contains both "Filter by Member" type and "Filter by Range" type - Go back to the story page and navigate to the chart
- Click on the three dot graph button beside this chart and select Sort-> Sales Manager-> Add Custom Order
=> Observe that this "Edit Member Order" panel would not appear on the right side
Cause
The issue is caused by a defect in the product.
Resolution
This issue has been addressed in version 2025.1.12
