3586621 - Discrepancy in Employee's Gross Capacity in Resource Calendar

Symptom

  • The employee's agreed working hours are XX hours per week, but the Resource Calendar shows a Gross Capacity of YY hours.
  • (Here XX refers to Gross Capacity hours and XX refers to hour/ week)
     

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Resource Management work center
  2. Go to Resource search view
  3. Search for the employee using their ID
  4. Select View
  5. Under Resource Availability, the Gross Capacity is displayed as YY

Cause

The issue might be because there were no Change Number Requests (CNRs) created when the Period model was changed.
 



Resolution

  1. Unassign time model and save changes
  2. Reassign time model.
  3. If the problem persists, create a new Time model and add it to the current period.
  4. If the issue continues, raise incident to SAP
