Symptom

  • An external candidate is unable to login to complete the onboarding process, even after resetting password.
  • The error message "invalid credentials" is displayed when the candidate attempts to login.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. The candidate attempts to login to the SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding system using their username and new password after resetting password.
  2. The system displays an error message stating "invalid credentials", preventing the candidate from logging in.

Cause

The username is case sensitive.

If the candidate initially entered their email as "A@dummy.com" as the username, they must use "A@dummy.com" to log in, and not "a@dummy.com".

Resolution

Please use correct letter in the email for logging in.
