3586783 - Data Transfer Issue Post Upgrade in SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • After upgrading the CFIN system from S/4HANA 2021 FPS02 to S/4HANA 2023 FPS02, the transfer of COPA field (WWSRG_PA - Reg Summary Prd Group) from universal journal (ACDOCA) to custom Field in group journal (ACDOCU) while running the DATA release is not working.
  • The system checks if GRPL is active for the fiscal year (in class - CL_FINCS_RUJ_PREP_JRNL_ACCESS ; Method - IF_FINCS_RUJ_PREP_JRNL_ACCESS~GET_FIELDS; Line: 29), which restricts the transfer to complete.
  • This issue is critical for business Group Reporting.
