3587064 - Message VC221 when maintaining the access sequence for text determination of sales documents - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When maintaining the access sequence to determine the text in sales documents using configuration activity "Set Up Text Determination for Sales Document Item" (ID: 103383), system shows the following message during saving: "The language does not come from the partner function AG for MVKE (Message no.VC221)".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Access the configuration activity "Set Up Text Determination for Sales Document Item" (ID: 103383)
2. Click the change button
3. Select to access sequences and move to Access sequence for Text ID's
4. Maintain new access sequences with text object "KNMT" and fill value in the "Partn.Funct." field
5. Try to save, then get the error Message no. VC221

The specification of a partner function in an access sequence is only supported for text objects that are relevant to customer or business partner master data. No partner function can be specified for the text object KNMT. It's a standard system design that the customer material info record is always read with the number of the sold-to party.

The "Partner Function" field is not supported to be filled with the text object "KNMT" when creating the new access sequence step.
