3587100 - EDOC_MESSAGE_TYPE_EMAIL error while implementing SAP Note 3519677

Symptom

  • While implementing the eDocument Framework related SAP Note 3519677 Inbound Message Handler, which is a prerequisites for SAP Note 3519678 Inbound Message Handler - Integration with SMTP Server, errors similar to below may occur:
    • Search field EDOMSGEMAILCUST-MESSAGE_TYPE of search help interface 
    • Search help EDOC_MESSAGE_TYPE_EMAIL not active.
  • In this case, the TCI method was used to implement the notes.
