3587161 - Add Button is available when user only have View permission in Latest People Profile for Custom MDF - SuccessFactors HCM Core 2411

• Admin only has view permission but doesn't have edit permission to end user for custom object. However, the admin can see Add button and edit for custom object in end user's latest people profile page.
• An error message "No Permission" is displayed when users attempt to save changes, preventing actual editing.

SuccessFactors HCM Core 2411

1. Log in as a user without edit permissions for the custom MDF object.
2. Access the edit screen of another user's profile.
3. There is "Add" button and input any data then save.=>There is error message "No Permission".

This is a known defect of RBP permission in 2411 version.

The issue has been identified and a fix will be implemented in the 2505 Release. Date of the release period:

• Production: May 16-18 2025
