An error occurs when releasing a service contract for billing: "Date type-specific Customizing missing for date type AR_END".
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Cause
A custom date profile is used for service contracts and the date type AR_END is not maintained in the custom date profile.
Resolution
Add the date type AR_END for the custom date profile using the configuration activity "Define Date Profile for Service Transactions" (ID: 104301), and then make a dummy change to the existing service contract to retrigger the date calculation.
