3587206 - Timesheets are recorded despite deleted or blocked PO items

A contingent worker can record timesheets even when a PO item has been deleted or blocked. However, these timesheets do not automatically generate Service Entry Sheets in the background.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a customer project and it's Work Package.
2. Create a PO and item to purchase a Contingent Worker for a specific WBS element(Work Package).
3. Staff the Contingent Worker in the Work Package.
4. Delete/Block the PO item.
5. Create timesheet records for the Contingent Worker, submit and approve.
6. In the Process Flow of the PO item, no any Service Entry Sheets are generated.

Currently, when posting timesheet entries, the system does not consider whether PO items are deleted or blocked. However, when generating Service Entry Sheets (SES), deleted or blocked PO items are not included.

Your feedback is valuable and represents a promising enhancement idea. SAP offers an opportunity for SAP S/4HANA Cloud customers to submit improvement requests via the SAP Customer Influence program. This platform enables customers to propose improvement requests and vote on them, which helps SAP understand the product enhancements and changes that customers prioritize for future releases.

Before the new enhancement is delivered, please consider any of below options as workarounds:

1. Undelete/Unblock the PO item and then schedule another job 'Automatic Creation of Service Entry Sheets from Time Recording' via APP 'Schedule Purchasing Jobs' manually to process this PO only. The SES will be created by the job. 
2. Use the custom BADI(HCM_CATS_V1_TS_VALIDATION) to perform validations on deleted/blocked PO Items, so they can restrict time posting.
