3587290 - Global Search Does Not Display Results With 2 Characters

Symptom

Global search is unable to provide results when trying to search with 2 characters.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental." 

Environment

SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the V2 System.
  2. Input 2 characters in the global search bar.
  3. Observe the results are not fetched.

 

Resolution

We need to at least insert 3 characters in order to get results in the global search.

This is the expected System behavior.
