Environment
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to the Physical Inventory work center.
- Proceed to the Common tasks view.
- Open Serial Inventory Overview.
- Enter the relevant Product ID.
- Click Go.
- The Product with the Serial Number is returned in the result and assigned the Stock Type Warehouse.
- Go to the work center view "Service Entitlements - Registered Products".
- Open the relevant Registered Product.
- The tagged Inventory status is: Issued to Production.
- Go to the Detailed Inventory Tracking.
- The last registered Movement is in a Production Lot.
Cause
The Confirmed Quantity of the Input Product with the affected Serial Number is zero as can be seen in the relevant Production Confirmation. - The backend correction is completed.
- The Status of the serial number is now changed to In Stock.
