3587680 - How Custom Object Categories Function in Latest People Profile

Symptom

  • How to find the visible full profile option?

  • Are there configurations related to portlet/card?

  • How to find the standard categories that appear on the left vertical panel.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • Metadata Framework

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SuccessFactors Instance
  2. Go to Employee Profile and open Full Profile.

Cause

The issue is due to the design of the system which does not allow modifications to the left side panel.

Resolution

The left-side panel does not change because its visibility is determined by Role-Based Permissions (RBP). Please note that the block cannot be disabled or removed.
