3587931 - Unable to Add Groups/Catalogs to Roles in PFCG in SAP Fiori for SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • The creation of groups/catalogs in the Launchpad Designer is successful and they are visible there, but these groups/catalogs cannot be added to roles.
  • The error message "Resource not found" is displayed when attempting to add the groups to roles via PFCG tcode.
  • The issue persists even after performing a cache reset using the programs /UI2/PAGE_CACHE_RESET and /UI2/PAGE_CACHE_CREATE, and still persists after restarting PFCG tcode.
