3588010 - Unable to Create Absence Request with Attachment in Joule

We are unable to create an absence request with an attachment using Joule.
If a take rule is configured to raise an error to ensure that an attachment is uploaded or if the attachment field is marked as mandatory, Joule throws an error as defined in the take rule. However, there is no option to attach a file.

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central – Time Management

1. Open Joule from the instance.

2. Type "Create Time Off" in Joule and click Send.

3. Provide all necessary details such as Time Type, Start/End Date.

4. Joule will display an error stating that an attachment is mandatory to create a leave request.

5. There is no option to attach a file, preventing the completion of the leave request creation.

• Enhancement

• The attachment feature is currently not supported in Joule.

• An enhancement request (SFDIS-8778) is in progress to address this limitation.
