3588022 - Change in Time Profile from Hours to Days Alters Historical Time Accounts

• A change in user's time profile from Hours (Part Time) to Days (Full Time) results in all previous time accounts being converted to days.
• The historical data in hours becomes inaccessible after the change.

SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking > Time Off

1. Navigate to the People Profile of the user.
2. Check the Job Information record. The employee's status is changed from Part Time to Full Time from January 2025.
3. Navigate to the Time Off portlet and check the Time Accounts. All previous time accounts have been converted to days, even though they were initially in hours.

Detailed steps

1. Create Time Profile (H) wherein all the Time Accounts are Hours Base
2. Create Time Profile (D) wherein all the Time Accounts are Days Base
3. Assign the TP (H) to a user, All TA created have accrual and balance in Hours.
4. Then Change the TP from (H) to (D). 
5. New Time accounts are created however they all display the Days, they have replaced the Hours account which are no more visible

This is an expected system behavior.

• • When changing the Time Profile or Time Account from Hours to Days.
  • The system will not display the old Hours Account. It will only display the current Days Account

1. To view the previous time accounts in hours, filter the dates accordingly. The system will display them as of the selected date.
2. Alternatively, the time accounts can be downloaded and the missing accounts can be filtered out.
