3588174 - Access Management for SAP Signavio Process Governance: User Authorization for Modelling

• In SAP Signavio Process Governance, a user is unable to create workflows despite having the "Enterprise Plus" and "Workflow Accelerator" licenses as well as administrative privileges in the organizational units.
• The "Create" button in the workflows is greyed out for the user.

Access Management for SAP Signavio Process Governance

1. Log in to SAP Signavio Process Governance with a user account that has the "Enterprise Plus" and "Workflow Accelerator" licenses as well as administrative privileges in the organizational units.
2. Attempt to create new workflow.

The "Create" button is grayed out for the user, indicating that within the organizational settings of Process Governance, the option of creating processes has been restricted to a specific group of users. This can be checked in the following way:

1. Open Process Governance and on the home page, click your initials in the top right navigation bar.
2. In the selection, choose "Organization Settings".
3. Open the "Workspace" tab and check that a checkmark has been set for the "Restrict process creation" option under "Preferences".

If this is the case, the affected user needs to be assigned to this group so that he/she can create processes.
