Symptom

  • During the upgrade process from S4HANA 2020 to S4HANA 2023 FPS03 using the Software Update Manager (SUM), an error is encountered.
  • The error occurs during the preprocessing phase MAIN_SHDRUN/EU_CLONE_CP2SINI_RUN.
  • The error message "general error: Internal Error : There is no ID assigned" is displayed when compiling a query with duplicate filtering conditions in the WHERE clause.
