3588372 - UI rule triggered before Business rule run for custom MDF in Legacy People Profile - SuccessFactors HCM Core 2411

When creating a new record in Legacy People Profile page, the UI rule is triggered first before the business rule is triggered.

This issue can be reproduced with below two ways.

The first way to reproduce:

1. Go to people profile page and find custom MDF block.
2. Click Pencil button to create a new record and input some value in custom field. Then it would trigger a business rule and raise an error message.=>It would be expected behavior.
3. Click Cancel to close this edit window.
4. Repeat Step2 and Step3 about 20 times.=>UI rule triggered before Business rule.It wouldn't be expected behavior.

The Second way to reproduce:

1. Go to people profile page and find custom MDF block.
2. Click Pencil button to create a new record.
3. Input a value into the custom field using keyboard operations: select a value using the TAB and arrow keys, then press Enter.=>UI rule triggered before Business rule.It wouldn't be expected behavior.

This is a known defect which is caused by the issue with combobox in SAP UI5.

The issue has been identified and a fix will be implemented in the 2511 Release. Date of the release period: 

• Preview:  Oct 13 2025 
• Production: Nov 14-16 2025
