Symptom

  • Calculation of a cluster table failed with error:
    SQL exception occurred in receiver system (rfc dest. NONE)
  • Error in SM21:
    • Database error -10802 with MOD access to table /1LT/30000001720
      > Invalid numeric value for parameter/column (33) source type
      > DECIMAL, target type FIXED8
  • The structure of the source table and target synonym are consistent
  • The issue persisted even after reloading the table.
