3588492 - Cursor Jumping to End of Message in Welcome Message Task - SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

• In the "Welcome Message" task for a new hire in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding, an issue arises after adding a token to the welcome message.
• The cursor unexpectedly jumps to the end of the message, rather than remaining at the previous position where the edit was made.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Navigate to the onboarding process of a new hire and start the "Welcome Message" task.
2. In the first or second line of the message, add a token from the available tokens in the "Insert token" option.
3. Observe that once the token is added, the cursor moves directly to the end of the message box.

The issue is caused by a bug in the system.

This issue has been identified and a fix (OBX-38085) has been created by the engineering team. The tentative fix date is scheduled for release in the 2H2025.
