Symptom
It is not possible to change the validity date of any type of Technical User (Communication User, Support User and Initial User).
Environment
- SAP Sales Cloud V2
- SAP Service Cloud V2
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Settings > All Settings
- Navigate to "Users" and select "Technical Users"
- Open any user on the list (Communication, Initial or Support)
- There is no option to edit the validity
Resolution
This is the system expected behavior. It not possible to edit the values of any type of Technical User.
- The Initial User is created to allow the addition of the first employees and Admin users in the system. The initial user has a 90 days validity period by default.
- The Support User is automatically created by the system. Its validity is reset for time to time, based on the support access.
- The Communication User is created when the communication arrangement is created. Its no possible to change its validity.
