3589135 - Issue with "User Name" Filter in the "Manage Production Operations" App

Symptom

In the "Manage Production Operations" app, when filtering by "user name", the result is empty even though there is an actual value with production creation user.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the "Manage Production Operations" app.
  2. Try to apply a filter using the user name.
  3. Observe that the result is empty even though there is an actual value.

Cause

The default filter view is "list view" and if change to "group view", it could be found that the "user name" field is under "work center" in "Manage Production Operations" app.  Therefore, it is not able to find creation user through this "user name". It is recommended to use the "Manage Production Orders" app to see information at order header level.

Resolution

The following is the workaround:

  1. To view information at the order header level, use the "Manage Production Orders" app.
  2. In the "Manage Production Orders" app, apply a filter using the "Entered By" field.
  3. Export the list to Excel and copy the order numbers.
  4. Enter these order numbers in the "Manage Production Operations" app "Order" field.
  5. Use the "Operation Group by order" for easier reading.
