3589155 - The Custom Element is not saved in Manage Templates after Click Save button

Symptom

The Custom Element is not saved in Manage Templates after Click Save button

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the form template in Manage Templates
  2. Navigate to the section, modify a custom element
  3. Click Save button
  4. Observe that the settings are not retained.

Cause

The custom element doesn't have ekey or there are duplicate ekeys in this section.

Resolution

Check the ekey configuration in provisioning.

  • If the custom element doesn't have ekey, maintain the ekey in provisioning. Make sure the ekey is not duplicate with existing ekey in the section.
  • If there are duplicate ekeys in this section, change the ekey name to make sure each ekey is unique in the section.

Sample XML:
<fm-element index="0" type="6">
    <ekey><![CDATA[ele_0]]></ekey>

  <fm-element index="1"  type="6">
    <ekey><![CDATA[ele_1]]></ekey>
