3589266 - Error appears when delegating a form in Delegation Management

Symptom

When attempting to delegate a form in Delegation Management, an error appears: "Your request couldn’t be processed due to an error. Refer to the help portal documentation for delegation error guidance and contact your system administrator if the issue persists."

Reproducing the Issue

Go to Delegation Management > Delegate a form to a user
Click on "Review"
See the following error message: "Your request couldn’t be processed due to an error. Refer to the help portal documentation for delegation error guidance and contact your system administrator if the issue persists."

Cause

Delegating the same employee template to two delegates at the same time is currently not supported. This is by current system design.

Resolution

Cancel the existing delegation request and create a new one.
Adjust the valid periods to ensure there is no overlap between the two delegation requests.
