3589550 - Inconsistency in Company Name Display in Purchase Orders

The Purchase order document always displays the latest company name, irrespective of the timeline maintained at the organizational level.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center.
2. Go to Purchase Orders View.
3. Search for the specific Purchase Order.
4. Select "All Documents" filter, Here the old company name is displayed for Purchase Order.
5. Click on Edit and then View All.
6. In the General Tab, the latest company name is displayed.

The system behavior is such that when the company name is changed at the organizational unit level, the Purchase Order document will always display the latest company name. The system does not consider the timeline maintained at the organizational level.

We acknowledge that this is the current system behavior and have planned a software fix for it in one the future releases.
