3589553 - start-date format is incorrect error shows up via import Job History when File locale is Simplified Chinese

start-date contains an invalid date format., The system failed to perform country/region-specific validation. Please ensure this record is associated with a valid Company record for the provided dates. The validation could have also failed due to the following reasons: 

1.The date format could be incorrect. Enter the date using the yyyy 年 M 月 d 日 format. 

Above error shows up when import File Locale is Simplified Chinese.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• Import Employee Data

1. Login instance
2. Go to Import Employee Data<Job History
3. Choose imported file
4. Choose File locale to Simplified Chinese
5. Click "Validate" or "Submit" button, error shows up

Date format is incorrect

The correct data format should be yyyy[space]年[space]mm[space]月[space]dd[space]日. 

That means, if your start-date is 1900年1月1日, make sure to write it in format of 1900 年 1 月 1 日.
