3589661 - Not Possible to Modify the Information Maintained in the External Customer Invoice Request from UI

Symptom

You are trying to Modify the External Customer Invoice Request from UI but the fields are Greyed Out.

Environment

SAP Business Bydesign 2502

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Customer Invoicing work center.
  2. View: Invoice Requests.
  3. Show: To Be Invoiced Requests.
  4. Search and edit ABC (ABC represents the External Customer Invoice Request ID).
  5. All the field are greyed out and is not possible to modify).

Cause

The External Customer Invoice Requests are created via webservice. Hence the information in the External Customer Invoice Request can only be modified using the webservice, not from the UI.

Resolution

This is expected system standard behavior.
