3589747 - Error while creating Data Flow / Replication Flow in Datasphere

• When creating data flow or replication flow, while browsing the source connection, error appears:

          HTTP Status: 500 error
          Error Code: connectionbrowse
          Technical Message: Failed to fetch the data. Error in getDisConnectionChildren. Failed to get container children for /.
          Cause 0: Not authorized to use the service Code: 99999 

• When creating data flow or replication flow, after selecting a source and clicking to select the source container, error appears:

          HTTP Status: 500 error
          Error Code: connectionbrowse
          Technical Message: Failed to fetch the data. Error in getDisConnectionChildren. Failed to get container children for /.
          Cause 0: request failed: rc=1, msg="invalid endpoint" Code 99999

Create a data flow or replication flow, while browsing the source connection.

The error indicates an authorization problem with the communication user configured in the Datasphere S/4HANA OP Connection.

A common root cause is that the communication user was not assigned a role based on 'SAP_DI_ABAP_REMOTE'.

The user configured in the Datasphere connection is a communication user and must be assigned a role based on `SAP_DI_ABAP_REMOTE`.

Refer to SAP Note 3100673 (SAP Data Intelligence / SAP Datasphere - ABAP Integration- Security Settings) and ensure the following steps are completed in the S/4HANA source system:

1. Open transaction `PFCG` and create a custom role based on `SAP_DI_ABAP_REMOTE`(e.g. `Z_SAP_DI_ABAP_REMOTE`).

2. Open transaction `SU01` and assign the newly created role to the communication user configured in the Datasphere connection.

3. In the custom role, add additional authorization objects depending on the data extraction method used.
