1. Workflow is approved.
2. Approver receives notification "There was an error in processing your response to an approval. Please go here to try again..." despite workflow successfully approved.

• The issue occurs when an attempt is made to approve a workflow that has already been approved.
• The error message is a default message triggered by the system.

The root cause of this issue is that the approver is trying to approve an already approved workflow.

It is possible the engagement cards remained on the homepage even after the absence request had been approved, especially when the workflow is dynamic.

Sometimes events can be skipped when a workflow has been approved which stops the card from disappearing after being approved. This can happen on rare occasions.

In conclusion, there are two possible reasons for this issue:

1. The workflow being approved was already approved but the engagement card was not deleted. This causes the issue when trying to approve it a second time.
2. Changes were made to the workflow or employee data when the workflow was already generated, making the approval invalid.
