3589802 - Workspace Owner doesn't have the Administrator Role in SAP Signavio Process Governance

Symptom

The Workspace Owner (aka Tenant Owner) does not have the Administrator Role in SAP Signavio Process Governance (SPG).
On the SAP Signavio Process Manager side, they have a Workflow (aka Process Governance) license.

Cause

Typically, the Workspace Owner is also granted the Administrator Role on the Process Governance side, when the workspace is created and the customer has purchased Workflow licenses.

However, if the Workspace Owner is changed, then the existing Process Governance Administrators may not have promoted them, or even granted them a Workflow license.

Resolution

In SAP Signavio Process Governance, there is no Workspace Owner role.
Instead, users are promoted to the Administrator role: Change Membership Type

If the Process Manager Workspace Owner needs to have the Process Governance Administrator role, then the existing Process Governance Administrators can promote them.

If necessary, SAP Signavio Support can also be contacted to promote the Workspace Owner.
