3589872 - Not all sections are visible when approving Workflow on Mobile Application - Employee Central

Symptom

  • The employee is unable to view Job and Compensation Information fields and attachments when approving pending workflows through the mobile application, even after having the super admin access and permission to view them.
  • The issue is specifically observed in the approval process for 'Manage Pending Recruits' on the mobile application.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Trigger a workflow after submitting New Hire from Manage Pending Hires
  2. Proxy as the approver
  3. Access Workflow Details from mobile app
  4. The user will see less information on the mobile application compared to the web application.

Cause

The mobile application have been designed to not display Job Information, Employment Details, or Compensation Information since beginning.

Resolution

Once this is an expected behavior, you may consider submitting an Enhancement Idea. How does it work?
