3589915 - Incorrect date format in a email notifications- Onboarding

Symptom

  • A business rule was created to assign English UK locale and date format to an email template in Admin Center > Email Services, with the expectation that the date would be in format: DD/MM/YYYY
  • However the date is still appearing in format: MM/DD/YYYY

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a business rule to assign UK locale
  2. Save the rule in Admin Center > Email Services > Email Template
  3. Trigger the email
  4. The email notification has a date with the wrong format: MM/DD/YYYY, instead than: DD/MM/YYYY

Cause

Incorrect Locale Code, the business rule is set to assign the locale "en_UK".

Resolution

  1. The correct Locale Code for Language: English UK is "en_GB"
  2. Modify the business rule to set the locale "en_GB"
  3. Re-save the rule in Email Services > Email Template
  4. Trigger the email again
