3590011 - VLE_EVENT_CREATION Template utilizes System Default Locale Instead of Instructor Locale

Symptom

While creating a VLS enabled Class, the Instructor is notified of the Class creation via the VLE_EVENT_CREATION notification. The VLE_EVENT_CREATION notification is sending the Subject and Body data in a different locale than what the Instructor's/User's locale is set to. The notification is instead using the system default locale which is not proper behavior.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Set the Instructor preference to German
  2. Set the system default locale to English
  3. Create a VLS enabled Class
  4. Add an instructor
  5. The instructor receives two emails, one in English and one in German. All notifications to the instructor should be in German.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2025 release (b2511).

Workaround
