3590052 - Business User Locked by SAP_SYSTEM When Trying to Edit Attributes

You are trying to edit the attributes of a business user, however the system displays the following error:

"Maintenance of user XYZ locked by user SAP_SYSTEM" (where XYZ represents the business user ID)

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Administrator work center.
2. Enter the General Settings view.
3. Click on Business Users.
4. Find the respective business user.
5. Click on the Edit button.
6. Select the Attributes option.

Here the error message is displayed.

The business user validity is already expired.

The validity of the business user is controlled by the validity of the respective employee.

While the business user is within the validity period, it should not be locked by the SAP_SYSTEM.
