3590077 - Unexpected update in grading options in SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Despite no changes made to the grading options for the items in the Item Connector (Column header - "GRADE_OPT" in the Input file), it was observed that the grading option and value for some items had been updated.

1. Prepare a feed file with all the mandatory fields that are needed for the connector to run >
2. For example update the initial number(Column - INIT_NUMBER) for items. Along with it pass a value for "GRADE_OPT", apart from the allowed values i.e. 1,2 & 3 (or) do not include the column header "GRADE_OPT" >
3. Observe the grading options for the items after the connector run is updated even though there is no column header.

The grading option defaults to "3" if not provided (or) if the provided value is not valid(1, 2 or 3 are valid values for column "GRADE_OPT").

1. Identify the column in the item connector feed file that is causing the grading option to update i.e. GRADE_OPT >
2. If there is no value for this column "GRADE_OPT", understand that the grading option will default to "3" as per the connector workbook >
3. To prevent unexpected updates, ensure to provide a valid value(1,2 or 3) for this column in the item connector feed file.
