Symptom

When running SAP Data Services jobs using PostgreSQL ODBC datastores, the jobs fail with the error message below:

ODBC call <SQLConnect> to connect database <DSN> failed with error: <ODBC call <SQLConnect> for data source <DSN>
failed: <connection to server on socket "/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432" failed: No such file or directory 

ISQL command also fails with the same error message
