3590480 - New Position doesn't appear in Manage Job Profile Builder tool

When a New Position is created it doesn't appear in Manage Job Profile Builder tool until the Job Role is resaved, reimported or positions are viewed in the Job role.

SAP SuccessFactors Job Profile Builder

1. Go to to Manage Positions and create a new position based on the existing job code mapped to a Job role.
2. Go to Manage Job profiles tool and create a new Job profile based on this new position.
3. Observe that the new position is not appearing in the list.

This is the current system expected behaviour.

To have the new positions appear in Manage Job Profile Builder tool you could performs one of the following actions:

• go to Manage job profile content tool open and save the Job role the affected Job code is mapped to;
• go to Manage job profile content tool open the role the affected Job code is mapped to and click the Positions number to view positions;
• to resave roles in mass, go to Manage job profile content export and import tool and export and reimport Job Roles data following the steps  in Implementing and Managing Job Profile Builder - Importing New Job Profile Content Using Manage Job Profile Content Import/Export with no changes.
