3590532 - How to deal with error "Incompatible Call Rejected, see note 2295840; ..."

Symptom

You are getting one of these errors in ECTR:

Incompatible Call Rejected, see note 2295840; Called Incompatible Function CDESK_SRV_MBOM_DERIVE 
Incompatible Call Rejected, see note 2295840; Called Incompatible Function CDESK_SRV_MBOM_MAINTAIN_MULTI   
Incompatible Call Rejected, see note 2295840; Called Incompatible Function RFC_EXPLODE_PRODUCT_STRUCTURE

SAP ECTR uses RFC modules. In S/4HANA systems it could be that some of them are on the RFC block list (blacklist). 
The "incompatible changed function-module" mentioned in SAP Note 2295840, is not applicable for SAP ECTR or the ECTR integrations.
