3590597 - Activation of Purchase Account Management in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

The checkbox “Activate Purchase Account” is not editable in SSCUI 106961 for the selected company code, preventing activation.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to SSCUI 106961 – Activate Purchase Account in Company Code.
  2. Select the relevant Company Code.
  3. Try to enable the checkbox “Activate Purchase Account”.
  4. Observe that the checkbox is greyed out / locked and cannot be edited.

Resolution

As of release 2508, the Purchase Account is active by default only for specific countries. Currently, it can be activated for India, South Korea, Peru, and Taiwan.
